RSCA Women lose cup final

DAMES RSCA Women failed to set a good example for the men's cup final on May 4. Purple and White once again did not have it under their belt against Angstgegner Standard winning 0-1. Toloba scored after only 15 minutes and Standard was then helped by goalkeeper Hemminga and the referee who unfairly released Vatafu after 60 minutes.


Anderlecht started weakly and, after several warnings, finally cashed in a counter goal fairly early. After this setback, Anderlecht did pull the sheet to itself and pressed Standard all the way back. There were also chances but the Liege closing unit was unbeatable.

The second game brought more of the same, but the Anderlecht overrun was stopped by an unjustified red card after a correct tackle by Vatafu. Anderlecht thus failed to find the over-earned equalizer and returned home empty-handed.
