YOUTH Anderlecht wants to move some youngsters to the A core again next summer. According to Het Laatste Nieuws, defenders Ismaël Baouf (pictured) and Nunzio Engwanda and midfielder Anas Tajaouart are making the move. It was previously known that Nathan De Cat will join the A core full time next season.

The 18-year-old Baouf has been a fixed value in the Futures' defense for two seasons. He is the son of former RWDM player Rachid Baouf and is still under contract until the end of next season.

Nunzio Engwanda is considered a great talent and was given a taste of the A-team last fall. In Europe he was given a substitute role and on December 27 he started against Dender. After the New Year, he dropped out and was benched several times for the Futures. The 17-year-old Engwanda extended his contract last July until 2027.

Tajaouart is the midfield patron with the Futures. Until late January, except for the first two days of play, he played every match from the first to the last minute, but then he dropped out. In November and December, he also made it to the bench several times with the A-team. The 19-year-old midfielder, who re-signed at the end of the year until 2029, is also a Moroccan youth international.

With Tristan Degreef and Ali Maamar, two boys from the Futures core already made the move to the A core this season.
