TRANSFERS Jan-Carlo Simic is attracting the interest of several European clubs, including Lazio, which is closely monitoring his development. The young player transferred from AC Milan to Anderlecht last summer for about 3 million euros and has had a season of solid performances. Meanwhile, he is among one of the most promising defenders in Europe. Currently, his market value is around 7 million euros, but increasing interest from bigger clubs could push this price up.

The list of candidates looks nice: from Italy, AS Roma, Fiorentina and Lazio follow the Serbian, but Bundesliga clubs such as RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt are also interested in the defender. Simic is seen by many clubs as a strategic investment who want to bet on young, international talents.

The chances of Anderlecht making a sale as early as this summer seem slim. The club is not very thick on defenders and Simic is also only one year with the club. However, it cannot be ruled out that a bigger European club will make an offer that cannot be refused after all.
