Transfer Touba will be difficult

TRANSFERS Anderlecht is interested in attracting Ahmed Touba, but the situation is proving more complex than expected. The club would have a verbal agreement with the 27-year-old defender, who currently plays on a rental basis with Mechelen. However, Touba is under contract with Basaksehir FK, which has an option to extend his contract by one year. In fact, Mechelen also has an 800,000 euro purchase option in the lease, which they plan to take advantage of.


The club is aware that Touba no longer wants to stay with them, but hopes for a profitable sale. The player's market value is estimated at more than two million euros, complicating Anderlecht's plans. Purple-White are unlikely to be willing to put that money on the table.
