INTERVIEWS Besnik Hasi states that his future at the club does not depend on a victory in the final of the Cup of Belgium. He has received no guarantees for a contract extension, but sees his return to Anderlecht as an opportunity to coach a top team. Hasi stressed that it is up to the club management to determine if he is the right man for the job: “If I achieve my goals, I will feel supported in my role at the club I love.”
The coach was surprised that Anderlecht approached him and did not hesitate for a moment to accept the challenge. Currently, however, he is not involved in the selection of new players for the upcoming transfer period.
“I am responsible for the team's results, but I still see Club Brugge as favorites on Sunday, given their greater experience,” he said.
Hasi has already gone all out to prepare his players for this important match. “Although I regret that some injured players will not be back in time. Regardless, we must believe in our chances of victory,” he continued.
With his passion and winner's mentality, he tries to motivate his players. To optimize the preparation, a special training program has also been set up this weekend, with which he wants to strengthen the focus on the crucial match.
