Conditional suspension for excluded assistant coaches

OTHER The Federal Prosecutor's Office has requested a game-day suspended suspension with suspension for Roel Clement (pictured) and Jonathan Alves. Both of Besnik Hasi's assistants were sent off in the closing stages of the cup final for protesting too heavily. They must also pay a fine of 500 euros.


“They stood inciting and wildly gesticulating with gestures and words to express their displeasure,” referee Jasper Vergoote noted in his match report. 

Clement went over the edge several times before that. “During the match he behaved several times in a disrespectful manner with gestures and words towards decisions of the referee team and this despite previous warnings from the fourth official.”
