Tim Borguet appointed CEO Sports of RSCA

OTHER RSC Anderlecht has installed a new executive committee, the most significant change being the appointment of Tim Borguet as CEO Sports, who will take charge of the sports department as of June 1. The committee also includes Kenneth Bornauw as CEO Non-Sports and Tim Vanheuverzwijn as CFO. Borguet will work with Olivier Renard, the Sports Director, Thibault Dochy, the Technical Director, and the Academy leadership. Together they will form a complementary sporting leadership, focused on a clear strategy and policy to lead the club to success.


During the presentation to the board of directors, both the sporting vision and ambitions for the upcoming transfer period were outlined. 

The changes push chairman Vandenhaute a bit more into the background: "I am convinced that with this team, for the first time, we really have everything on track," the chairman said hopefully about the changes. Vandenhaute now wants to end the season in beauty and then fly full into the transfer window: "We have already attracted a few newcomers and that is a taste of where we want to go. We have ambition, but Anderlecht will only reach the top structurally once we reach the Champions League," he said.
