INTERVIEWS Besnik Hasi saw his team get off to a very bad start in the game against Union. "That penalty for Union was absolutely avoidable," he said. "Union's aggressiveness allowed them to score the only goal of the match, which came from a ball loss by Yari Verschaeren," he continued. In the second half, Anderlecht improved its play somewhat, but this proved insufficient to turn the game around.
Hasi stated that if Mario Stroeykens' goal had been approved, the dynamics of the match would have been different. "Union clearly desired the win more than my team," Hasi said.
Finally, Hasi emphasized that Anderlecht must perform significantly better in the final two games of the season.
