"Anderlecht is gigantic construction site"

INTERVIEWS Philippe Albert has expressed his concerns about RSC Anderlecht's performance after the disappointing defeat in the final of the Cup of Belgium and the home game against Union. "Specific players, such as Yari Verschaeren and Moussa N'Diaye, did not live up to expectations, while Thorgan Hazard also failed to convince with his play," Albert observed. Albert was also not set up with Wouter Vandenhaute's interview. He called it "a smokescreen for the supporters."


The future of his ex-club is of great concern to Albert. He expects it will be quite some time before supporters can celebrate another trophy.

Albert stresses that significant changes are needed in the core during the upcoming transfer period, with a strong focus on bringing in young talents.
