Bruges fans accept ban

OTHER There will definitely be no Bruges fans at the stadium on Sunday. On Tuesday, Mayor Cumps made his decision formal. The West Flemish fans threatened a lawsuit at the Council of State. Lawyer Walter Van Steenbrugge in particular took a firm stand. 


But in the meantime, the tone has softened. "After careful consideration" it was decided not to take legal action against the decision in order "not to let the situation escalate further", it now sounds. The criticism of the mayor has not diminished, however, but people are resigned to the situation.
