The new pitch will be laid in two stages

OTHER It is still the management's intention to lay a new pitch at Lotto Park, even if the current one is in better condition following the return of good weather. The work will take place over two years, according to press reports.


The first part is due to start on May 19, unless RSCA finish fifth in the league, which would postpone the date as there will be a play-off. The second part would take place in May 2026.

The need to do the work in two stages is dictated by the fact that it takes ten weeks for everything to be ready, and as the pitch has to be ready in July, this makes the deadline very short. The foundations will be laid in the first stage and the new pitch in the second.
