Stroeykens: “The efficiency was not there”

OTHER In yesterday's match against Club Brugge, Mario Stroeykens saw his team create several good chances in the first half. “But despite all these opportunities, however, we lacked efficiency and that was the big problem for us today,” he said after the match. “The three goals conceded in the first half determined the outcome of the match early on. In the second half, we were also unable to capitalize on our chances and make it a game again,” he said.


Stroeykens did score a nice goal himself, the only one of the evening for Anderlecht: “My goal had no influence on the result in the end and was therefore pointless,” he was brief.
