Six Anderlecht players in Het Nieuwsblad's Talent Top 50

YOUTH Het Nieuwsblad has compiled a list 50 of Belgium's greatest talents between the ages of 14 and 20. Anderlecht has six players in this list. Nathan De Cat is the highest ranked in fourth place. 


The list was drawn up by twenty Belgian and foreign youth scouts, trainers, sports directors of first division teams and national selections. Each of them could send in a top twenty. Only potential Red Devils were considered.

Ajax player Jorty Mokio is in first place. Next come Romeo Lavia (Chelsea) and Malick Fofana (Lyon).

With thirteen players in the list, Genk is the best represented. Anderlecht follows along with Club Brugge in second place with six youngsters each. Remarkable: of the Genk and Bruges players in the list, many play in 1B. At Anderlecht, De Cat is actually the only one of the Futures in this list. Jayden Onia Seke mostly still played soccer with the U18. He made 341 minutes in 1B.
