'Nygren high on list at Anderlecht'

INTERVIEWS According to Walloon transfer journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Anderlecht is seriously interested in Benjamin Nygren, a 23-year-old winger from Nordsjaelland. Nygren will be out of contract at the end of December, which makes him very attractive financially.


In the summer of 2019, Nygren moved from Gothenburg to Genk at the age of 18. A success did not become his Limburg adventure. After a two-year loan spell to Heerenveen, he moved permanently to Nordsjaelland in January 2022. 

In Denmark, the right-winger completely blossomed. Last season he was good for sixteen goals and four assists. In March, he made his debut for Sweden's national team. He has since sat through three international matches, in which he scored twice. 

Nygren's contract expires at the end of December and Nordsjaelland hopes to earn something from him this summer. Transfermarkt estimates his value at 3 million euros. According to Tavolieri, Nygren is not reluctant to a transfer to Anderlecht.
