Vandenhaute stays on as chairman

OTHER Wouter Vandenhaute is staying on post after yesterday's board meeting. The president reportedly did have to defend himself vigorously about the policies pursued. Bornauw's departure was especially hard on many, including Marc Coucke. But Vandenhaute can thus remain chairman as usual, which was to be expected given his recently extended mandate until 2031.
 


In addition to policy discussions, Tim Borguet presented the club's sporting plans and Tim Vanheuverzwijn gave a financial update.

The board meeting was concluded after about three hours.
