Close to agreement with Union on Champions League

OTHER Union Saint-Gilloise is in talks with Anderlecht to play its Champions League home games next season at Lotto Park. Both clubs are open to a cooperation and an agreement is within reach for the four home games in the League Phase. Unions Dudenpark does not meet UEFA standards and other options seem to have been discarded (Leuven, Heizel,...).


At least the playing dates are not a problem. Kenneth Bornauw, Anderlecht's outgoing CEO Non-Sports, is leading the negotiations, but the approval of other club leaders is still needed.
