Coosemans is reportedly interested in extending his contract, albeit under improved terms, as his current agreement was established when he served as the backup goalkeeper. Meanwhile, the names of several goalkeepers linked to Anderlecht seem to be aimed at replacing Mats Kikkenborg, who has struggled for playing time and may not have the confidence of the coaching staff. The Danish goalkeeper has also expressed a desire to leave the club.

As a result, Anderlecht is actively exploring the market for an affordable replacement who can provide competition for Coosemans. However, should an exceptional opportunity arise for Coosemans, the club may still consider a potential sale.
