Agreement with Montreal on Saliba

TRANSFERS Anderlecht has reportedly reached an agreement with Montreal regarding the transfer of Nathan-Dylan Saliba. The 21-year-old midfielder is currently representing Canada in the Gold Cup, the CONCACAF championship. According to Het Laatste Nieuws, Anderlecht had previously secured a deal with the player himself, with Saliba set to sign a four-year contract. His market value is estimated at €3.5 million.

The official announcement of the transfer is expected to be delayed until after Canada completes its participation in the Gold Cup. Given that Canada is in a group with Honduras, El Salvador, and Curaçao, it seems likely that they will advance to the quarterfinals.
