TRANSFERS During the transfer window, speculation surrounding potential new signings for Anderlecht continues to emerge. Recent reports suggest that the club is interested in Pedro Vite from Vancouver Whitecaps and Maxi Oyedele from Legia Warsaw. Pedro Vite, a 23-year-old Ecuadorian central midfielder, has caught the attention of Anderlecht due to his contract expiring in December. With a current market value of approximately €5 million, he presents an appealing target, especially considering Olivier Renard's strong connections in Canada.

However, Anderlecht faces stiff competition, as both Girona and Benfica have shown significant interest. Benfica has reportedly made two bids, the latest being €3 million plus €2 million in bonuses, which was rejected by Vancouver. This ongoing pursuit indicates Benfica's determination, with some sources suggesting a deal may be imminent. Given these circumstances, it seems unlikely that Anderlecht will surpass Benfica's offer, especially as there has been no concrete bid from the Belgian club thus far.

On the other hand, Maxi Oyedele, a 20-year-old defensive midfielder of Polish nationality, is also on Anderlecht's radar. Currently playing for Legia Warsaw, Oyedele has made 21 appearances this season and is valued at around €4 million. Having previously played for Manchester United's U21 team, the English club retains a 40% sell-on clause, which complicates Anderlecht's ability to negotiate a low transfer fee, particularly since Oyedele's contract runs until 2027. While Anderlecht's interest is noted, Club Brugge and Werder Bremen are also in the mix, with Bremen reportedly expressing the most concrete interest.
