TRANSFERS Turkish club Besiktas is said to have made a first bid for Kasper Dolberg, according to Turkish sources. As previously reported, the Istanbul club would have to make a solid financial effort to bring in Dolberg. The Turks' first offer would therefore consist of a loan deal with an option to buy.
The chances of Anderlecht jumping at such a construction are rather non-existent. The club only wants to sell Dolberg to free up financial resources, and of course that hardly happens on loan. If Besiktas would then not take up the purchase option at the end of the season, the Danish striker will return with one less contract year to go and purple-white will have to lower the asking price for a transfer. In other words, there are really only disadvantages to such a deal.
However, it does indicate that Besiktas wants to push for Dolberg, although it remains doubtful whether they have the financial clout to effectively make the transfer, especially if competition were to show up which could raise the price even more. Moreover, Renard also recently indicated that Dolberg is not on the transfer list: "He is an important player and is not on the transfer list. On top of that, he also wants to stay in Brussels," it sounded.
