INTERVIEWS Romelu Lukaku reflected on the Red Devils, his year at Napoli but especially his return to Anderlecht in an extensive interview. "Family-wise, 2027 would be the most ideal time to return," he sounded.
Big Rom sees himself continuing for several more years with good physical guidance: "That should definitely work out and I'm not coming to bulge out. I want to win; that's what the beast in me says," he echoed.
Lukaku does hope that the power struggle within the club will soon come to an end: "An internal strife makes it impossible to win prizes," he said about that. He also hints that that power struggle might get in the way of his arrival.
After his active soccer career, he also sees a role for himself in the purple and white: "I would be a good trainer. But Neerpede is everything to me. The young boys have to learn to win everything again. And they have to get opportunities. A role within youth training would perhaps suit me best," he concluded.
