OTHER The Board of Directors of RSC Anderlecht held a meeting on Tuesday evening, which had been planned for some time. During this meeting, chairman Wouter Vandenhaute was present, while owner Marc Coucke was represented by his right-hand man. A previously announced capital increase of 14 million euros will not be implemented. Nevertheless, the Board of Directors approved a bridge financing, giving Olivier Renard more room on the transfer market.

However, Renard will have to continue to manage his expenses with care despite this additional financial space. The tensions between Coucke and Vandenhaute were not discussed.

In terms of transfer policy, the focus is on attracting young, affordable players with both sporting and financial potential. No experienced players with high salaries are recruited, and hiring players is only considered if there is a need for more experience at the end of the transfer period.

In addition, the possibility of selling players to create financial space is taken into account.
