OTHER Enzo Sternal has signed a new deal at Anderlecht. The 18-year-old Frenchman extended his contract, which ran until mid-2027, by two years. After suffering a serious knee injury in March, he has since returned to training on the pitch.

In January, Sternal, who was not yet 18 at the time, signed until 2027. So now two years are added to that. With two goals in six games, Sternal had started well with the Futures until he sat out in March with a knee injury.

"Everything was going well. Then there was that injury but that's part of football," the Frenchman explained. "That can happen to anyone and only makes me stronger. But everything is going well. The staff is helping me, the club too."
