Will we get games on Monday nights?

OTHER FIFA has reached an agreement with some players' unions. This agreement states that FIFA wants 72 hours of rest between official matches. This sounds very logical, but it could have major consequences.


The clubs playing European games on Thursday, including Anderlecht, would then only be able to return to action on Monday instead of Sunday. Under pressure from supporters, the game in the Jupiler Pro League five years ago was quickly cancelled on Monday night. If the 72-hour rule really goes into effect without exceptions, then there is a chance that there will be considerable football in our league on Monday night.
