Sarr yet has to be convinced

TRANSFERS Anderlecht coach Besnik Hasi has stated that he is looking for an experienced central defender. Malang Sarr emerged as a potential reinforcement. The 26-year-old left winger has no starting place at RC Lens, despite a great deal of experience at Chelsea, among others. His contract runs for one more year which makes him an interesting target for Anderlecht despite his price tag of 5 million. Indeed, Sarr has been followed by the club for some time and Renard is said to be effectively working on his file. But the player himself is not convinced of a transfer to Anderlecht. So some ‘massage work' is required before it can come to a deal. An advantage for Anderlecht is that assistant coach Edward Still knows Sarr from his time at Lens, which could possibly help in the negotiations. On top of that, he also trained with Lukaku at Chelsea.
