Kompany visited Neerpede last week

OTHER Three years after his departure, Vincent Kompany briefly returned to Neerpede to visit former colleagues. The Bayern Munich coach is on vacation following his team's elimination from the Club World Cup by PSG. During his stay in Brussels, Kompany spent time with his brother François, who is regularly seen around the RSCA Academy. They also used to play padel together in the neighborhood. Kompany still maintains good contacts with players including Besnik Hasi, Tim Borguet, and Thibaut Dochy, Olivier Renard's right-hand man.


Despite his departure due to (alleged?) disagreements with chairman Wouter Vandenhaute, Kompany continues to speak enthusiastically about Anderlecht in the press.
