EL: Anderlecht to Norway or Austria in the next round

OTHER If Anderlecht manages to eliminate Swedish side BK Häcken in the Europa League preliminary round, they will face Norwegian side SK Brann or Austrian side FC Salzburg in the third qualifying round.


The matches are scheduled for August 7 and 14, 2025. Anderlecht will therefore play the loser of the Brann-Salzburg match in the Champions League preliminary round. Interestingly, Club Brugge will face the winner of this match. Anderlecht shouldn't complain too much, as they could also have drawn Glasgow Rangers, Viktoria Plzen, or Panathinaikos.

If Anderlecht survives this round, they will qualify for the Europa League play-offs. If they are eliminated, they will be placed in the third qualifying round of the Conference League. Here it faces the loser of the confrontation between the Dutch Utrecht and Sheriff Tiraspol from Moldova.
