INTERVIEWS Enric Llansana is feeling at home at Anderlecht. In an interview, he indicated that his adjustment to the club is going smoothly and that the players worked hard during their training camp in the Netherlands. The focus is now on the upcoming European matches. Incidentally, the first talks between Llansana and Anderlecht took place at the end of the winter transfer window.
"I had discussions with the club management and felt that I could take a crucial step in my career," he said.
Olivier Renard, the sporting director, presented him with a clear plan, which convinced him to choose the Purple & White. Llansana is determined to help Anderlecht return to the top of Belgian football. The fact that Anderlecht is rebuilding doesn't deter him: "I want to actively contribute to this project," he says resolutely. Although Union also showed interest, Anderlecht's proposed project was the deciding factor for him.
Llansana is already seen as a vital link in the team, especially after last year's disappointing season. He describes himself as a driven player who doesn't shy away from a necessary foul. "Yet, I still pick up relatively few yellow cards," he adds.
