Anderlecht wants Häcken's central defender

TRANSFERS Olle Samuelsson caught the eye of the Purple & White during the double header between Anderlecht and Häcken. The Swedish newspaper Expressen reports that Anderlecht is keen to acquire the 21-year-old defender, but that Häcken is unwilling to let him go.


Samuelsson has only just joined Häcken. At the beginning of June, he joined from Sandvikens for €315,000. He signed a contract until the end of 2029.

Häcken therefore does not want to let Samuelsson leave. If Anderlecht wants him, they will have to pay a "record fee," according to Expressen. FYI: According to Transfermarkt, Häcken's transfer record is held by Momodou Sonko, who moved to Ghent for €7.25 million.

However, the question remains whether the interest in Samuelsson is still valid. Anderlecht signed a central defender, Yasin Özcan, on Saturday. We don't rule out that the two deals were linked.
