TRANSFERS Mats Rits is attracting interest from NAC Breda, but his arrival appears to be a long-term project. NAC Breda, and especially coach Carl Hoefkens, remains determined to sign Rits. The process, however, requires "creativity" because NAC cannot meet the financial requirements.
Rits is reportedly open to a move to the Netherlands. But the picture has to be completely right. NAC sees him as the leader they urgently need, but the Dutch have already agreed to several transfers from coach Hoefkens. They may therefore not want to go too far this time.
The midfielder also attracted interest from Pogoń Szczecin in Poland. That club even made an offer, but Rits rejected it because it wasn't attractive enough.
