Official: Goto temporarily joins STVV

OTHER Sint-Truiden has announced the arrival of Keisuke Goto. The Sint-Truiden club will loan Goto from Anderlecht until the end of the season, without a purchase option. In an Instagram post, Goto thanked Anderlecht and is already looking forward to his return. 


At STVV, Goto joins a club with many Japanese people, both as players and in management. "My welcome at STVV was exceptionally warm. You immediately feel that this is a warm, close-knit family club," says the striker. "I hope to make a decisive impact at my new club soon."

STVV CEO Takayuki Tateishi expects to have found a perfect replacement for Adriano Bertaccini in Goto. "Keisuke maintains his high work ethic for 90 minutes and combines that with making the right choices at decisive moments," says Keisuke. "So Keisuke knows exactly where and when to appear to create danger. We expect his clever and direct playing style to create plenty of scoring opportunities. He also contributes defensively."

"At STVV, Keisuke now has the opportunity to gain additional experience in the Jupiler Pro League," Anderlecht announced about the loan.
