Verschaeren: "Positive about my future at Anderlecht"

INTERVIEWS Yari Verschaeren played a key role in the match against Sheriff Tiraspol, providing both a decisive assist and scoring a goal. He noted similarities with the previous match against BK Hacken, where the team also struggled to make a difference after conceding the opening goal. According to Verschaeren, the second goal brought relief to the team.


"We maintained maximum concentration and were able to prevent a goal from conceding," he said.

Verschaeren, however, still regrets the elimination against Hacken and also takes responsibility: "If I had performed at the same level as today, we would have qualified in Sweden," he said.

Although the competition in midfield is fierce, Verschaeren is determined to continue improving his performances and earn a starting spot. He feels comfortable at Anderlecht and is optimistic about his future at the club. "I'm focusing on the sporting side, and my agent is handling the other matters," he added.
