Hatenboer and Cvetkovic have to be patient

OTHER Cedric Hatenboer and Mihajlo Cvetkovic are currently part of the RSCA Futures team, where they are getting the necessary playing time to adapt to their new playing environment. However, so far, they have not yet been able to get any playing time with the RSC Anderlecht first team. Cvetkovic showed his scoring potential last weekend, but he still has work to do in other aspects of his game.


Hatenboer also failed to impress; he suffered a concussion during pre-season, which has negatively impacted his development. The Dutch player has thus far been unable to convince the coaching staff.

For the time being, both players will continue playing for Anderlecht's reserves, under the supervision of Jérémy Taravel, who is responsible for the transition between the two teams. Taravel noted that the RSCA Futures players generally lack both physical and experience. This is not surprising, given that many of these players are still very young and some recently moved up from Anderlecht's U18s. Other talented players were (too) quickly transferred to the first team.
