Hasi: "Our finishing wasn't good enough"

INTERVIEWS Besnik Hasi has mixed feelings after the match against AEK Athens. While he is pleased with the creativity and numerous chances his players created, he is disappointed with the lack of goals. "Our lack of efficiency was immediately punished: the Greeks equalized. In this phase, we simply gave AEK too much space, allowing them to score easily," he said.


Nevertheless, Hasi believes this match can boost his players' confidence, given the number of chances they created. He emphasizes the importance of maintaining intensity in future matches and is confident his players are capable of doing so. "We still have a 50% chance of qualifying for the second leg, although I expect AEK to field a different lineup in the second leg. We will certainly have to be more efficient," he concluded.
