Vandenhaute offers resignation as chairman

In the email, Vandenhaute also criticized Marc Coucke. According to Vandenhaute, Coucke's Instagram post on Sunday provided the ultimate push: "When the majority shareholder addressed the fans directly, just an hour before the match against Union, without the club's knowledge, I realized that resigning was the only option left for me."
