Vandenhaute's resignation as chairman accepted

OTHER The Board of Directors met this morning to discuss the tendered resignation of chairman Wouter Vandenhaute. This resignation was unanimously accepted, but a new chairman has not yet been appointed.


Anderlecht published a summary of the Board's decisions on its website.

• Wouter Vandenhaute's resignation was unanimously accepted. A new chairman will be appointed in due course.
• Wouter Vandenhaute will not participate in the Board of Directors in the near future. Mauvavie is represented by Tomas Van Den Spiegel.
• Anderlecht's management (Tim Borguet, Isabelle Vanden Eede, and Tim Vanheuverzwijn) will report to the Board of Directors.
• Patrick Vermeulen has been co-opted as a new director following the death of Tony De Pauw. Vermeulen represents shareholders Steven Buyse and Michael Lavrysen on the Board of Directors.
• The Board of Directors and management have critically and transparently discussed the strategic, structural, and sporting situation and are determined to continue building the club's future.
