Round of 16 to be played at Lotto Park

TRANSFERS RSC Anderlecht will face KVK Ninove in the round of 16. The amateur club was given home advantage but has now decided not to participate. The Mayor cannot guarantee safety, and the capacity of 1,350 supporters is too small.


Many RSC Anderlecht supporters live in Ninove; there's even a purple-and-white supporters' club just a few meters from the football pitch. Interest is therefore enormous, and the Ninove stadium "Ter Kloppers" cannot handle the crowds. The Mayor also fears for safety.

The match will therefore be played at Lotto Park. The time and date will be announced tomorrow, and more information from the club will likely follow later.
