Anderlecht considers terminating contracts of unnecessary players

OTHER Tim Borguet has shared his views on the transfer window for the first time. The Sports CEO indicated that things haven't gone entirely according to plan. Although the club is close to its sales targets, there are still several significant contracts they want to get rid of. Borguet is referring to Thomas Foket, Mats Rits, Majeed Ashimeru, and Alexis Flips. They will remain with the club until at least January: "We hope for a solution then and are exploring other options," he said.


The Sports CEO acknowledges that terminating the contracts has already been considered. No decision has yet been made on this matter. News on this matter may therefore emerge in the coming days or weeks.
