OTHER Like the rest of the team, Ludwig Augustinsson was disappointed after Anderlecht's draw against Antwerp. Once again, the Purple & White dropped points at Lotto Park, points that could prove costly at the end of the season. “It's disappointing that we couldn't score today,” said the Swedish defender.

According to Augustinsson, it was particularly difficult to break through Antwerp's defensive block. “They sat very deep, especially in the second half. In those circumstances, it's difficult to break them down. I think they are very satisfied with this point. We lacked the precision to create bigger chances. We still have work to do in that area.”

Busy week

The calendar gives Anderlecht no respite. On Tuesday, they host KAA Gent at the Astridpark, followed by a trip to OH Leuven on Friday. This means the team will play three games in just six days.

Still, Augustinsson sees no reason to panic. “That's not a problem. We worked extremely hard during the preparation period. The coach really took us to a higher level physically. I don't know why the other teams get an extra day of rest, but anyway... those are no excuses,” he concluded combatively.
