INTERVIEWS Keisuke Goto, currently on loan at Sint-Truiden, will face his parent club RSC Anderlecht tomorrow. The Japanese striker has scored three goals so far this season and has adapted well to his new team. Although Goto is satisfied with his start, he acknowledges that there is still room for improvement. He wants to further refine his game by making better choices and optimizing his positioning.
In addition, he strives to be more decisive and strengthen his mental resilience. Besnik Hasi, coach of Anderlecht, would have liked Goto to stay with the club, but the player opted for more playing time.
“I appreciate the opportunity STVV has given me and am determined to prove my qualities at Anderlecht when I return,” Goto says ambitiously. Goto is also aware of the efforts RSC Anderlecht has made to sign him and did not hesitate for a moment when signing his contract. "That's one of the reasons I won't celebrate if I score. On top of that, I want to maintain my bond with the Anderlecht supporters," he said.
