INTERVIEWS Nathan De Cat opened the scoring for Anderlecht tonight with a beautiful strike. He played strongly again and showed why Anderlecht is reluctant to see him leave for the U17 World Cup. "My family and friends were in the stands. I'm very happy I was able to score," he said after the match.
"Overall, we played well," De Cat said.
The midfielder was also asked about Anderlecht's decision not to let him go to the U17 World Cup. "I spoke with the club and understand their position. Of course, I would have liked to go, but I'm at peace with it."
