YOUTH Rumors of a possible return of Jean Kindermans to Neerpede are growing stronger. According to several sources, the Antwerp club has resigned itself to the eventual departure of the youth academy director. Kindermans would return to his former position at Anderlecht. However, the academy stalwart still has a contract in Antwerp until 2029, meaning negotiations on the terms and timing of his return will have to take place anyway.
However, Marc Coucke remains hopeful and is trying to convince the Antwerp club to release Kindermans quickly.
A return could also facilitate Romelu Lukaku's arrival at the club. The striker attaches great importance to the return of the experienced youth coach.
