OTHER The debate surrounding Nathan De Cat's World Cup selection continues to reverberate at Anderlecht. During the press conference, coach Besnik Hasi made it clear that the club's position remains unchanged. "I won't answer any more questions about that. Anderlecht's position is clear," he stated firmly.
The Purple & White team only wants their young midfielder to travel during the international break, from November 10 to 19. In that case, De Cat would be able to play a maximum of two matches at the U17 World Cup, provided the young Red Devils survive the group stage.
According to Hasi, the situation doesn't seem to be affecting De Cat. "His last two matches were top-notch. He needs to concentrate on his football and enjoy it. Everything else is secondary. I'm counting on him for every match," the coach emphasized.
The message is clear: Anderlecht is standing firm and remaining true to its line in the De Cat dossier.
