Hasi: "First half was painful"

INTERVIEWS Besnik Hasi and Colin Coosemans gave the press an explanation after the defeat in Charleroi. Of course, no real explanations were given, other than observations that any supporter can make. According to Hasi, the first half was "the worst" he'd seen this season, but we could easily name a few others that could easily be called "the worst."


"There might have been three players at the right level, but luckily we were still in the game," Hasi added. The substitutions brought some improvement, but Hasi mainly noticed the sloppiness with which the chances were squandered. He felt Anderlecht had created enough chances, but that the goal conceded proved to be a bitter pill to swallow.

Goalkeeper Coosemans admitted his (rare) mistake: "... if I'm there, I have to have the ball." He saw the team making the same mistakes as against STVV, namely a huge difference in quality throughout the match. "We have to question ourselves, work harder, and show what it means to play for Anderlecht," said Coosemans, who felt De Cat was the only player up to par.
