YOUTH Anderlecht's U21s drew 2-2 against Sunderland in their first match of the Premier League International Cup. A remarkable performance, as the English side fielded several players who are already playing in the Premier League.
With Brian Brobbey (ex-Ajax and Dutch international) and Eliezer Mayenda (6 matches and 1 goal this season in the Premier League), Sunderland had a forward line with a market value of €38 million. Goalkeeper Anthony Patterson (25 years old, market value €12 million), Harrison Jones, and Luke O'Nien (30 years old!) have also made the Premier League squad this season.

After four minutes, Anderlecht took the lead when Ntanda converted a penalty. Dutch striker Brobbey quickly equalized, but through Nga Kana (pictured), Anderlecht went into halftime with a lead. Only ten minutes before the final whistle did Sunderland salvage a draw through Ukrainian striker Tuturov.
