YOUTH Anderlecht's U21s drew 2-2 against Sunderland in their first match of the Premier League International Cup. A remarkable performance, as the English side fielded several players who are already playing in the Premier League.

In contrast, a youthful Anderlecht, where only Nunzio Engwanda had ever tasted a first-team start, must have been an impressive experience for the purple-and-white youngsters, playing in the beautiful Stadium of Light in Sunderland.

After four minutes, Anderlecht took the lead when Ntanda converted a penalty. Dutch striker Brobbey quickly equalized, but through Nga Kana (pictured), Anderlecht went into halftime with a lead.
