Anderlecht shows interest in Ricardo Mathias

TRANSFERS RSC Anderlecht has set its sights on 19-year-old Brazilian striker Ricardo Mathias. The 1.92-meter-tall player is currently under contract with Porto Alegre. Mathias has played two matches for the Brazilian U20 team so far, scoring one goal and providing one assist. This season, the young striker has made 27 appearances for his club, scoring four goals. However, many of his appearances have been as substitutes; he has yet to secure a regular starting spot.


His contract runs until June 2028 and his market value is estimated at seven million euros. Besides Anderlecht, Göztepe, Braga, Porto, Lecce, and Lazio are also interested in the player. Göztepe is even considering signing Mathias on loan in January. However, seven million would be too much for the purple and whites, further complicating the situation.
