INTERVIEWS Enric Llansana played the match against Union wearing a mask; during training, he had a fierce duel with Cedric Hatenboer that left him with a broken nose. “When the mask is dry, it's fine, but as soon as you start sweating, your vision becomes blurred,” emphasizes the Anderlecht midfielder. “My nose was supposed to be fixed this week,” he assures us, “but I'll have to wear this mask for a while longer.”
He also notes that the purple and white gave Union very few chances, but that his team did retreat too much towards the end of the match. Llansana does see positive developments and concludes that the group of players is growing from match to match.
“We are not afraid of anyone,” he emphasizes. “We have to aim for the top step of the podium,” he adds.
