OTHER Bob Madou, CEO of Club Brugge, has been appointed by the Pro League's Board of Directors to serve on the Board of Directors of the RBFA. He joins Sven Jaecques (Antwerp), Pierre François (Standard Liège), and Frank Lagast (KV Mechelen). Together, they represent the professional clubs on the board of the Belgian Football Association.
Two board members will now sit on both the Pro League and the RBFA boards, which strengthens coordination between the two organisations.
Kenneth Bornauw, CEO of RSC Anderlecht, had also put himself forward as a candidate to succeed Wouter Vandenhaute. He was not selected. As a result, Anderlecht will lose some influence at the highest level of the RBFA.
