OTHER Not long after the news broke, Anderlecht officially confirmed the arrival of David Verwilghen as the new Scouting & Recruitment Director. Dries Belaen, who had been with Anderlecht for five years, is leaving the club.
Verwilghen was Sports Director at RAAL La Louvière. In addition to Verwilghen, Hugo Rios-Neto will also start in 2026 as Recruitment Data Specialist. He was previously active in the MLS and at Atletico Mineiro in Brazil.
