TRANSFERS Winter is approaching and Anderlecht fans are holding their breath. Nathan De Cat and Nilson Angulo, two of the revelations of recent months, are attracting interest from several top European clubs. Coach Besnik Hasi makes no secret of his concern. “A coach is always a little nervous,” he smiles at the press conference.
“Certain players have made enormous strides in recent months and are attracting a lot of interest. In Belgium, you always have to find the right balance: retain your talents or accept the financial reality.”
For the fans, the message is clear: De Cat and Angulo have become established players in the team. Their departure in January would be a heavy blow, even though their development is a source of pride for RSCA and its youth academy. The Purple & White hope that the story of these two young players will continue to be written at the Astridpark.
